We are Photographers situated in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Ely lies 12 miles north of Cambridge on the A10. Our Photography has covered weddings in Spain and Italy, and also attended Irish weddings.

We find the use of unstructured backdrops and natural surroundings lends itself to our approach of wedding and portrait photography. We especially use reportage and “a fly on the wall” approach to all our wedding and portrait clients photography. Our approach to weddings is somewhat unusual. We endeavour to get really close to the couple getting married.

Weddings are very personal affairs, and no two weddings are the same. We like to incorporate the actual romance and share the love that only a newly married couple have. So our pictures of the couple getting wedded are very romantic and natural.

We like to take a pre-wedding shoot of the couple getting married. After all, you try the wedding dress on before the big day-we find that having some idea of what you will experience at your wedding helps. Of course this helps you find photographic angles you like, prefer and makes the actual wedding a lot less nerve racking.

On the morning of the wedding we will start when you would like us to. In this instance we photograph some of the early wedding day magic. Often we can help with fixing carnations, helping Dad tie his cravat etc. We arrive at the church before the wedding ceremony and catch the entrance. Whilst we maybe restricted in taking pictures inside or during the service, we can usually do a lot surreptitiously.

After your wedding ceremony we let guests get on with their pictures, after all if we are there all day we can take our pictures of the wedding guests whilst they’re are socialising. Our candid and casual approach diffuses any drama s and disarms nerves. We only really need 10 minutes with the Newly Weds in order to get some intimate shots. We’ll have a complete breakdown of the names and nicknames of the main players. We take down as much detail as possible of the wedding dress and bridesmaids to ensure we don’t miss any details.

We are used to working in unusual wedding venues. We’ve photographed weddings on the London Eye, weddings in Cathedrals, weddings in restaurants, weddings in barns, even weddings at Zoos! Recently we were asked to photograph a wedding involving helicopters.

We are particularly used to the weddings in the Cambridge Colleges. We have covered weddings on The Cam and involving punts delivering the wedded couple and guests.

We cover all types of wedding service from a Christian Wedding Service, Muslim Weddings, Ayurvedic Weddings, Civil Partnerships, even a wedding on a boat.

We stay as long as asked - sometimes until the early hours. We will cover any special surprises you may have lined up such as a firework display, first dance of the newly wedded couple - a paparazzi style car chase can be laid on. At the end of the day weddings are very special and we want you to have the best possible time.

We normally take about 700 pictures during a large wedding, and about 200 during a registry office wedding. The pictures of the wedding are normally available within two weeks, just as you return from your honeymoon. They can be viewed by projector and can also go on the web for those further a field.

Our wedding albums are reportage style and our wedding album designers design the wedding albums. We offer two albums, one traditional and one contemporary wedding style printed and hand stitched. We also can provide framed wedding prints, parents wedding albums etc.

Your wedding pictures will be sent to local press for inclusion in their wedding section.

With children we prefer parents to be on hand so that the children feel reassured and completely relaxed. It often means we have to take more time and play. After all, the children call the shots!
